Logan Paul On Adjusting To WWE: Sometimes, I Get ‘Really Nervous’ Because I’m Still Learning

Even “Lucha Logan”, the man The Miz called the greatest luchador of all time, feels nervous sometimes.

Logan Paul will make his in-ring debut with WWE at WrestleMania 38, where he’ll team up with The Miz to face Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Paul has competed in several high-profile boxing bouts, but sports entertainment is an entirely different arena.

In an interview with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN, Paul previewed his looming bout at “The Showcase of the Immortals.” He shared his plan to wear a “speedo” in the ring before he made it clear that he’s going to do his best by diving in and working hard.

“It’s crazy,” Paul said. “There’s gonna be 100,000 people watching me wrestle in a speedo. I asked my fans on Instagram. They want me to wear a speedo, so I think I’m gonna try to get that done. I’ve never done it before professionally. I’m with legends in the ring. These guys have been doing it forever; The Miz and The Mysterios. It’s just another one of those things (where) I’m just gonna close my eyes, work as hard as I can, dive in and immerse myself into this art form.”

Paul went on to admit that he sometimes feels nervous when he’s in the ring. He’s been performing in a non-wrestling capacity with promos and other appearances on RAW, and he stated that he’s dealing with the learning curve that comes with it.

“Sometimes I go in there, and it’s I never don’t have fun, but sometimes I’m really nervous,” Paul said. “Sometimes I go in there like 100 percent and just (be) like, ‘F— it’, (and be) carefree. But just like anything, it’s a new thing that I’m doing that I’m not accustomed to in front of a ton of people. There’s a learning curve with it. I’m in it, you’re watching it, and we’ll see how it develops.”

Paul’s debut match is just a few days away, as he and The Miz will take on The Mysterios on WrestleMania Saturday (April 2).
