Thunder Rosa To Defend AEW Women’s Title At AEW Battle Of The Belts II

Thunder Rosa will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts II on April 16.

During the April 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, the broadcast team confirmed that the champion would put the title on the line against Nyla Rose on the Saturday night special.

Rosa won the title by dethroning Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., on the special “St. Patrick’s Day Slam” episode of Dynamite. Rose, a former AEW Women’s Champion, attacked Rosa the following week, and the two women have been feuding ever since.

As of this writing, this is the only match that has been announced for AEW Battle of the Belts II.
