Lacey Evans is coming back.
During the April 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, Evans was featured in a pre-taped promo. She discussed the obstacles she has faced throughout her life, including a particularly challenging childhood. Evans described how she overcome these setbacks and served her country by joining the Marines. She then shifted gears and noted that her background and her drive as a motivator don’t make her better than the other superstars, but they’re not better than her.

“The Sassy Southern Belle” debuted on the main roster in 2019, and she was featured on RAW and SmackDown at different points until she took time off due to her pregnancy in February 2021. She hasn’t wrestled since the February 15, 2021 episode of WWE RAW; she was scheduled to challenge Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber, but the match was canceled.
Evans gave birth to her second daughter in October.
