A second title bout has been announced for AEW Battle of the Belts on April 16.
During the April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, alongside Dan Lambert and Ethan Page, confirmed that he’ll be defending the title against Sammy Guevara on Saturday night. Page noted that the show will be in Texas, the one place where Guevara won’t get booed out of the building, while Lambert called “The Spanish God” and Tay Conti the most obnoxious couple in AEW. Sky closed the message by saying that his winning streak will get bigger when he beats Guevara in Texas.
"The only thing getting bigger in Texas, is my Winning Streak". – TNT Champion @scorpiosky

Guevara lost the title to Sky on the March 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, due to the blatant interference of American Top Team, including Paige VanZant. He has continued to feud with Sky ever since.
AEW previously announced that Thunder Rosa would defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Nyla Rose at Battle of the Belts II.
The updated card is as follows:
- TNT Championship: Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Sammy Guevara
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Nyla Rose (with Vickie Guerrero)
- ROH World Championship: Jonathan Gresham (c) vs. Dalton Castle
