AJ Francis (Top Dolla): I’ve Had ‘Very Good Conversations’ With IMPACT Wrestling

AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla, has teased his next move in the wrestling world.

Francis, along with the rest of the Hit Row stable, was released by WWE last November. After Swerve Strickland found success on his own on the independent scene, Francis, Tehuti Miles and Briana Brandy reunited at GCW For The Culture as The HitMakerZ. Moving forward, it’s unclear what the group has planned.

Speaking with Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Francis stated that during WrestleMania weekend, he had “very good conversations” with IMPACT Wrestling. The company was in the same hotel for its WrestleCon event, so the two sides managed to connect. That being said, he emphasized that there are still plenty of discussions that need to be had.

“I mean, nobody knows this, but we did WrestleCon at WrestleMania and IMPACT was at that hotel,” said Francis. “And I’ll just say that there was very good conversations had, so there’s still things that need to be looked at and worked out and a lot of discussions that still need to be has. But I mean, The HitMakerZ were in the building.”

Francis also revealed that he’ll be on TV this Monday, but it won’t be on the channels fans usually see wrestlers on.

“Oh people don’t know this but you gonna see me on Monday, I’m gonna let you all figure out,” said Francis. :It ain’t gonna be on the channels that most wrestlers get on because I’m not most wrestlers. Monday you’ll see me, trust me.”
