Minoru Suzuki competed in an AEW ring on April 20, but it wasn’t on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Instead, he faced QT Marshall on the AEW Dark: Elevation taping before the show. During the match, Marshall’s stable, The Factory, got ejected from ringside. Suzuki went on to defeat Marshall with his signature Gotch-style piledriver.

This bout wasn’t the first time Suzuki stepped into an AEW ring. He faced Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite in September 2021, and he teamed up with Lance Archer to face Moxley and Kingston on AEW Rampage: Grand Slam. He later faced Bryan Danielson on a special Buy-In for AEW Rampage in October. On the April 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, he unsuccessfully defended the ROH World Television Championship against Samoa Joe.
