Gangrel On Edge’s New Faction: It’s Cool, I Hope They Do Big Things

Gangrel approves of Edge’s new faction on WWE RAW.

At WWE WrestleMania 38, Damian Priest helped Edge defeat AJ Styles; in doing so, he formed an alliance with the WWE Hall of Famer. The two men have been aligned ever since, and the group is reportedly set to grow in numbers at some point.

Gangrel, who worked alongside Edge in The Brood many years ago, told Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. that he thinks the stable is “cool”, and he enjoys the way it combines The Brood with The Undertaker’s gothic character. He went on to say that he hopes the group does big things and brings some exciting new members in.

“I think it’s cool. I don’t know where they’re going with it. I talk to Adam, but I haven’t talked to him since right after WrestleMania, what’s going on. I don’t like to ask too many questions, I kinda like to be surprised. I don’t know wanna know so if I go say something stupid on the podcast like I leaked something.

“But there’s no reunions, no talks with Christian or Edge. although it’s be really cool to be with Damian Priest and Edge, that’s cool. I love how he’s got lot a mixed Brood/Taker vibe with raising the chair and the fire and stuff like that. That was really cool, I was really stoked. I’m really happy for him, he’s a really good dude. And from what I know of Damian Priest, all my interactions, the few conversations I had with him, he’s a great dude so I think they deserve each other, in a good way. And I hope they do really good business and I hope they do big things. And I hope they get Rhea Ripley and they get some really cool people in this faction.”

Edge is set to face Styles in a rematch at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, as their rivalry continues to escalate on WWE RAW.
