The Bloodline vs. RK-Bro & Drew McIntyre Set For WWE WrestleMania Backlash

The card is always subject to change, and WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

Initially, RK-Bro and The Usos were set to compete in a Tag Team Championship Unification Match at the show. The two duos were about to sign the contract for the bout on the April 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, but they started brawling instead. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came to ringside and distracted RK-Bro so The Usos could get the upper hand. “The Tribal Chief” ripped up the contract, but Drew McIntyre came out to even the odds. He then brawled with Reigns and cleared the ring of The Bloodline.

After the fight, Reigns’ special counsel Paul Heyman told Adam Pearce that he should make the unification bout a six-man match in order to appease an unhappy “Tribal Chief.” Pearce initially turned the idea down, but Heyman threatened to file a complaint against him.

The broadcast team subsequently confirmed the six-man match for WWE WrestleMania Backlash.
