A new qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament was announced during the AEW Dark tapings on May 1.
On Sunday, AEW held two sessions at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Broadcaster Tony Schiavone announced that Dante Martin will face Rey Fenix in a qualifier.
Fenix made his AEW return on the April 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. He had been sidelined with an arm injury since the January 5 episode, when he and Penta El Zero Miedo lost the World Tag Team Championship.

Darby Allin, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Dax Harwood have already qualified for the tournament. Jeff Hardy will face Bobby Fish in another qualifying bout on the May 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. The tournament will begin on the May 11 episode.
