WWE RAW Viewership Decreases Again On 5/2, Lowest Rating Since December

WWE RAW viewership decreased again on May 2.

According to Showbuzz Daily, an average of 1.581 million viewers watched the show on Monday, which is down again from the 1.613 million viewers who tuned in last week. In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.38, which is down again from last week, and their lowest since December per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. For comparison, last week’s show scored a 0.44 rating.

The hourly breakdown is as follows:

  • First hour: 1.624 million viewers, 0.39 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Second hour: 1.648 million viewers, 0.39 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Third hour: 1.472 million viewers, 0.35 in the 18 to 49 demographic

With the NBA Playoffs dominating cable on Monday, RAW once again ranked fourth, fifth, and sixth overall in the key demographic among cable originals on Monday. With hour number two taking the top spot for the evening.

This week’s episode opened with The Bloodline from SmackDown cutting a promo regarding WrestleMania Backlash. RK-Bro ended up attacking The Usos and Drew McIntyre got his hands on Roman Reigns. It was eventually broken up by WWE staff and had no continuation throughout the rest of the evening. The main event was a six-woman tag team match that featured Asuka, Liv Morgan, and RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defeating Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Sonya Deville.
