WWE NXT 2.0 Draws Highest Viewership Since January On 5/3, Demo Rating Drops

WWE NXT 2.0 viewership increased with the “Spring Breakin'” special on May 3.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 661,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday night, and it drew a 0.13 (173,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic. Thurston notes that this week’s number is NXT’s highest total viewership since the “New Year’s Evil” special on January 4.

Citing Showbuzz Daily, Thurston stated that NXT 2.0 ranked #33 in the demo among cable originals and #46 overall in Tuesday night. The NBA and the NHL dominated TV on Tuesday night.

The total viewership is up from last week, when 577,000 viewers watched the show. But the demographic rating is down; the April 26 episode scored a 0.14 (177,00) in the same demographic.

This week’s episode featured two title matches, alongside other noteworthy bouts. In the main event, Bron Breakker defended the NXT Championship against Joe Gacy.
