Ezekiel recalls fond memories with his brother, Elias.
Ezekiel is the “younger brother of Elias” and the latest member of the WWE Raw roster. Ahead of yesterday’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Ezekiel recalled meeting Shawn Michaels along with his older brother when they were just kids. The story has everything you could want in a childhood memory, almost as though some part of it was fabricated.
“We are here at Monday Night Raw, and it is not lost on me how crazy it is that I get to get into a WWE ring. I can remember when Elias got his license, and I didn’t have mine yet, wasn’t old enough,” Zeke recalled. “But he just wanted to travel the world and go anywhere and everywhere he could. But at 16, you don’t have too many options. So being a big Shawn Michaels fan, I knew that he was doing a signing not too far away. And so I asked my brother, ‘Hey, you want to go?’ and he agreed to it. I remember we get in the car and right away, Elias, he’s got to play this demo for me that he’d been working on. And he pops it on and I’m thinking pretty good man. Yeah, I was impressed. Honestly, I might be biased, but he’d only been playing for a few months at that time. And I really enjoyed it. I’m talking his head off. You know, I’m like, ‘What am I going to say? We’re going to talk about the boyhood dream or WrestleMania 14?’ You know, what am I going to say to Shawn, and we get there and we’re in line and I’m all worked up and Elias just says you know, ‘Zeke, just keep it cool, man. And I walk up to Shawn, and I say to Shawn, you make me want to be a WWE Superstar. My brother, Elias, he snapped this picture I wanted to show you. I can remember driving home that night with my brother, I just met my favorite WWE Superstar, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Does life get any better than this?'”

Of course, life will get better for Ezekiel as now he is living his dream on Monday Night Raw. Except, of course, there is that whole issue of Kevin Owens not believing that he has anyone but Elias in disguise.
