Nese has been feuding with Danhausen and HOOK in recent weeks. Alongside “Smart” Mark Sterling, he challenged the face-painted fan-favorite to a match on the May 6 episode of AEW Rampage.
Danhausen had been sidelined with a leg injury since his AEW debut in January, but he has since recovered.
The updated card for the May 11 episode of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
- FTW Championship: Ricky Starks (c) vs. Jungle Boy
- MJF and Wardlow contract signing
