This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was a big one, and the May 18 is set to be even bigger.
A trio of Owen Hart Foundation quarterfinals matches will take place on the show. Kyle O’Reilly will take on Rey Fenix, while Britt Baker and Samoa Joe will face mysterious Joker entrants. Elsewhere, Chris Jericho and William Regal will meet in the ring to go face-to-face as the feud between their respective factions continues to grow. Regal punched Jericho during a brawl between the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club, alongside Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz, on the May 11 episode.
Plus, AEW World Champion Hangman Page will face Konosuke Takeshita face off, with CM Punk on commentary as a special guest. Hangman will clearly aim to send a message to Punk, the man who will challenge him for the gold at AEW Double or Nothing.
Finally, Wardlow will be taking his 10 lashes, as part of the conditions that he must fulfill before facing off against MJF at AEW’s Double or Nothing. Adam Cole and Jeff Hardy will also clash in a semifinals clash of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.
