The Acclaimed have arrived; at the AEW Dark: Elevation taping on May 11, the popular duo competed in a tag team bout for the first time since March.
Anthony Bowens had been on the shelf with a knee injury, but he returned to the ring on Wednesday; he, Max Caster, and The Gunn Club faced Bryce Donovan, Zack Clayton, GKM and Lucas Chase on Wednesday.
Before this bout, Bowens hadn’t wrestled since the March 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, where The Acclaimed unsuccessfully challenged AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) for the gold. Though he had been injured, Bowens has continued to accompany Caster to the ring for his matches.
