MJF Says ‘Somebody In Upper Management Has A Problem With Me’

AEW Superstar MJF still has a year and a half on his contract but that has not stopped him from openly teasing a move to WWE when the time comes. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that this is not a work from MJF and that there are legit frustrations between the two sides. Read more on that here.

Speaking on the Rasslin’ podcast about his future, MJF gave some very interesting comments about his current run in AEW. Firstly, he expressed frustration with ex-WWE guys entering AEW and immediately making more money than him.

MJF said, “I think there’s a lot of stuff going on in this company that is inaccurate. I think all these ex-fuc**** WWE guys that are making an absurd amount of money. When quite frankly they can’t sniff my fuc**** jock when it comes to the ratings I pull in whenever I am on screen, I think they can all go to hell.”

He continued by saying he thinks someone in upper management dislikes him. “I think that somebody in the upper management has a problem with me, and it’s very obvious if you see what I am dealing with week to week.”

MJF spoke about his friend Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger) and said that if MJF goes to WWE he won’t have to deal with the stuff that Shawn did. MJF said, “I have built my brand and established myself here. So, when I go over there, I am not going to have to deal with the same type of bullshi* that Shawn Spears had to deal with. Because a guy like that has been criminally underrated for over a decade.”
