Adam Cole Advances To The Finals Of The Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament On 5/18 AEW Dynamite

Adam Cole faced Jeff Hardy in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament on the May 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

After his brutal match with Darby Allin the previous week, Hardy was banged up heading into the bout. But the veteran refused to forfeit, so he competed in the main event bout, though he clearly wasn’t 100%. Cole attacked Hardy during his entrance to give himself even more of an advantage. He continued to ground the fan-favorite star for the duration of the match. Though Hardy tried to rally, Cole put him down with The Boom and pinned him to advance to the finals, which will be held at AEW Double or Nothing.

After the match, Cole and The Young Bucks attacked The Hardys. Sting and Darby Allin tried to make the save, but reDRagon came to the ring to give The Undisputed Elite the numbers advantage. The group then Pillmanized Sting and ended the night standing tall.
