WWE Superstar Riddle was assaulted by Roman Reigns and The Usos after SmackDown and now WWE has released a medical update on his status.
WWE said in an official statement, “As a result of a vicious attack by The Bloodline in the wake of SmackDown’s Tag Team Title Unification Match, Riddle has suffered a bruised hip and lower back and both he and Randy Orton are undergoing a medical evaluation.”
As we reported a few days ago, Riddle is currently internally scheduled to be Roman’s next challenger for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, however, that match is not scheduled to take place for over another month until Money In The Bank on July 2. Currently, Roman Reigns is not scheduled to compete at Hell In A Cell in two weeks.
Riddle and Randy Orton lost their RAW Tag Team Championships after a 74 day reign. They previously had a 142 day reign before losing them to Alpha Academy.
