AEW will deliver a star-studded show just two days ahead of the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
As announced on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, the May 27 episode of AEW Rampage will feature a singles bout between Bryan Danielson and Matt Sydal. “The American Dragon” seemingly suffered an injury during a brawl with the Jericho Appreciation Society on the May 20 episode of AEW Rampage. On Wednesday night, he came to the ring for another fight with JAS, but Chris Jericho kicked his wounded leg. The broadcast team subsequently announced that Danielson will face Sydal on Friday, hoping to prove that he’s ready to compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing.
Plus, The Young Bucks will be in action, but their opponents haven’t been named yet. Matt and Nick Jackson will look to get some momentum before their match with The Hardys at AEW Double or Nothing.
Elsewhere on the show, Dan Lambert will present Scorpio Sky with a new TNT Championship that was made in his image. Sammy Guevara destroyed the title when Sky and Lambert refused to give him and Tay Conti the mixed tag team bout they’ve been chasing, but on the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Lambert told Sky that he had a new belt for him.

As previously announced, Kris Statlander will face Ruby Soho in the semifinals of The Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. advanced to the tournament finals on the May 25 episode of Dynamite; she’ll face the winner of this bout at AEW Double or Nothing.
