The Young Bucks are once again the AEW World Tag Team Champions, but Christian Cage added a crushing blow to end the night.
The main event of Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite featured a ladder match between Jurassic Express and the Young Bucks for the AEW tag titles. The Bucks came out on top, but the night was not over just yet, as Christian Cage ultimately turned on Jungle Boy after the match. Christian surprised Jungle Boy with a Killswitch, then hit him with a Con-chair-to before posing over him to end the night.
The Young Bucks start their second reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions; their first reign with the titles lasted 302 days between November 7, 2020 and September 5, 2021. The Young Bucks are also the only team to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship twice. Jurassic Express’s only title reign ends at 162 days.
