WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops On 6/24, Demo Rating Also Dips

WWE SmackDown viewership dipped on June 24.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.231 million viewers watched the show on Friday, and it drew a 0.53 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. These numbers are down from last week, when 2.290 million viewers tuned in and SmackDown drew a 0.57 rating in the same demographic. SmackDown ranked #3 among cable originals in the demographic on Friday; it faced competition from the Stanley Cup Final and the pre-game coverage.

This week’s episode featured an Intercontinental Championship match where Gunther defended the title against Ricochet. In the main event, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre battled The Usos. Plus, Shotzi faced Tamina in one Money in the Bank qualifier, while Sami Zayn took on Shinsuke Nakamura in another.
