KUSHIDA is coming to NJPW STRONG.
In a tweet on July 5, New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that the former WWE NXT star will be at the NJPW STRONG High Alert taping in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 25. El Desperado was also added to the card. They join Eddie Kingston, Hiromu Takahashi, Mascara Dorada, Hikuleo, and TJP on the announced card.

KUSHIDA returned to NJPW on June 21, and he has been in action during the New Japan Road tour. Desperado crossed over to AEW by appearing on Dynamite and wrestling at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. At the pay-per-view, he and Yoshinobu Kanemaru came up short against Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.
