Buff Bagwell Addresses Recent Twitter Controversy, Allegations Against Business Partner, Missing Merchandise

Buff Bagwell is trying to make things right and addressed a number of topics that had him trending for the wrong reason.

Buff Bagwell has seen a surge in popularity in recent months and it was largely due to his positive and uplifting activity on Twitter. Buff embraced the LGBTQ community and looked to make amends with people from his past, but as it turns out… it wasn’t Buff running the account.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that not only was Buff not running his own account, but several fans did not receive merchandise they paid for. A man known as Michael Long was working with Buff on his brand, and now Buff is trying to set the record straight about Long’s involvement in his social media activity, the missing merchandise and more.

Buff Bagwell addressed recent allegations in a new video on his YouTube channel and said that he learned a lot about himself in the past few months, and also had a lot to apologize for.

“As you know, the last three or four months, I’ve been trending over a lot of great things and having a lot of fun doing it. But the last few weeks, it seems like I’ve been trending over some things that are not so great. And so today, I wanted to come out and clear some things up and apologize about several things,” Buff said. “I just wanted to come face to face with everybody and do that. I really, really want to apologize about several, several things.”

Buff spoke about working with Diamond Dallas Page on a documentary called “Change Or Die”. He said that the reception he got from people helped drive him forward, but it also showed him that he has a lot of work to do with himself and he’s going to stick it out.

Buff then addressed the allegations that his fans did not receive the merchandise they paid for. Buff says that Michael Long, who was helping him with online sales, “dropped the ball” and left a lot of fans empty-handed.

“I did not receive or see any of that money, and I just want to get that cleared up with everybody and know that I’m going to get to the bottom of it. I apologize,” Buff stated. “Over the last few days, it’s come across that Michael also has a criminal record that I do not condone at all. It’s a situation he’s got to deal with on his own, but at the same time, I just want everybody to know that it’s something that I do not condone whatsoever. I want everybody to know that I did not know this when I hired him, that it is a mistake that I will not make in the future. Michael’s got his own problems going on now, and that’s just on Michael.”

Buff then went on to address the allegations that he was not running his own social media account. Buff said that he had a team that helped him and they stepped in for him at times, but it was very much his voice and thoughts being shared.

Bagwell did not directly address Long’s criminal record, but it has since been learned that Long was a stage name for Javan Michael Miller, a convicted sex offender from Ohio. According to records on the Ohio Sex Offender Registry, Miller was convicted in 2019 for soliciting a minor under the age of thirteen in sexual activity.
