Ace Romero Ready To Kick It Into High Gear, Reflects On Working With ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey

The Watch List takes a look at what matches you should be watching while you’re at home and they come recommended by your favorite professional wrestling stars.

WrestleZone recently spoke with Ace Romero, who picked some of his recent work on the independent scene as some matches to look out for.

“I think the most stuff I’m really proud of would be like I wrestled ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey for The Wrestling Revolver out in Iowa. I know that match is actually online. That was awesome, great to work with him. Hopefully more of the stuff I did overseas will kind of air. I think I have a match on WWE Network for wXw for one of their shows I was on. But stuff like that, I kind of took the summer to kind of take a little absence. I came back from Europe, I kind of took a little bit of a break, little bit of a breather.

“I hadn’t had much time off since, the first time off I think anyone had was during the pandemic. So it’s kind of one of those things, you have to rebuild your buzz. I started to rebuild and then the Europe thing fell into my lap. So there’s matches I want to be seen, like the Mike Bailey match, stuff I did overseas. But I’m really looking forward to getting in high gear the rest of the year. I still have a lot left in the tank.”
