Hook is a champion and Team Taz is no more.
During the July 27 edition of AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen, Ricky Starks retained his FTW Championship in a defense against Danhausen. After, Starks called out another competitor to step up to him. Unfortunately for the champion, Hook answered the call and made quick work of Starks to capture his first title.
After the match, Ricky Starks cut a promo proclaiming that his time is now after a string of bad timing. To make his night worse, Starks was blindsided by a clothesline from behind from his partner Powerhouse Hobbs.
