For the second consecutive year, Atlanta will host WWE’s first event of the calendar year. During the WWE SmackDown taping in Atlanta a few nights ago, WWE revealed that the company will be returning to Atlanta on Sunday, January 1 for WWE Day 1.
This premium live event is not on sale yet,but fans can register here for an opportunity to be the first to get tickets. The public ticket sale will be held August 23 at 10am EST. Brock Lesnar is currently advertised as the only superstar on the promotional material for the event, seen here.
WWE Day 1 PPV was held this year in Atlanta on Saturday, January 1. Over 13,500 people packed into State Farm Arena to see Brock Lesnar regain the WWE Championship just hours after Roman Reigns was announced as unable to compete due to COVID-19.
Upcoming WWE premium live events include Clash at the Castle in Wales, Extreme Rules in Philadelphia, Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, and Survivor Series in Boston.
