The real-life best friend duo of Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green have achieved the ultimate, winning the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championships at Countdown to Emergence.
The duo took down the team of Valkyrie and Rosemary during the show, cementing their win after Rosemary had accidentally sprayed Valkyrie with poison mist, allowing the team known as VXT to hit a Double Suplex for the win.
The victory is a huge accomplishment for both Purrazzo and Green, and is the first tag team championship of any kind for both superstars, both of whom have previously won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship at some point.
