AEW Dynamite viewership saw a slight decrease on August 17 despite CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and Bryan Danielson all being on the same card for the first time in months.
According to Showbuzz Daily, AEEW Dynamite on August 17 drew 957,000 viewers. This number is down from last week’s episode which drew 972,000 viewers.
The demo rating number in the key demographic also fell as this week only drew a .30 rating as opposed to last week’s .33 rating. Because of this decrease, AEW Dynamite was the number 2 overall show losing the top spot on cable to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
This week’s show featured the return of Kenny Omega, a brawl between CM Punk and Jon Moxley, setting up a championship match next week, and a Daniel Garcia vs. Bryan Danielson 2 Out of 3 Falls classic.
