Miro will look to redeem the Monster Energy BIG3 Celebrity Game.
The former AEW TNT Champion will participate in the BIG3’s first-ever celebrity game, which will be held on August 21. The game, which will raise money raising money and awareness for underprivileged youth, is scheduled to air on CBS on September 4.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Miro commented on his involvement, noting that he’s a big NBA fan and he’s looking forward to facing off against former WWE 24/7 Champion Rob Gronkowski in the game.
“I’m a big NBA fan and used to play as a kid,” Miro said. “It’ll be a great honor to play among other stars who love the game as much as I do. I can’t wait to be coached by the legendary Clyde Drexler. I played on Gronk’s team in 2019, and am ready to play against him this year.’
Gronkowski will be the captain of Ice Cube’s Team Webull. Their opponents will be TeamPrice.com, which will be captained by Nelly and coached by NBA legend Clyde Drexler. Miro will play alongside Nelly, while Vernon Davis, Ozuna, Matt James, NLE Choppa, and others will also participate in the game.
