Aliyah reflects on her WWE Raw debut.
Aliyah has been part of the WWE system since 2015. On Monday, August 22, 2022, Aliyah appeared on WWE Raw in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and not only got to compete against Bayley but stood side-by-side with WWE Hall of Famer, and fellow Toronto-native, Trish Stratus. Despite losing to Bayley, Aliyah got to live her dream and reflected on the moment in a WWE digital exclusive.

“I grew up like ten minutes from here. Just seeing my little brother in the crowd, someone that I watched wrestling with and the WWE with, it was such a feel-good moment, and just to know that he’s proud of me, is good enough,” she said tearfully.

Raw on August 22 also featured Edge’s first match in Toronto in 12 years and Edge also revealed that, in a perfect world, he’ll retire in Toronto in August of 2023.
