Penelope Ford will aim to earn a title shot on the September 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW has announced that Ford will face AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm in a Championship Eliminator Match. With a win, Ford will clinch the right to challenge Storm for the future at some point in the future.
Ford was sidelined for several months with an injury, but she returned at AEW Dark: Elevation taping on August 10. She then competed on the August 19 episode of AEW Ramage, where she lost to Athena.

Storm won the title at AEW All Out; she faced Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida in a match that crowned an interim champion after Thunder Rosa stepped down due to an injury.
Additionally, Chris Jericho will address the AEW Galaxy after his victory over Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out.
AEW president Tony Khan also announced that he will address the AEW World Championship and World Trios Championship will be addressed. AEW World Champion CM Punk was reportedly involved in a physical confrontation with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, the AEW World Trios Champions, after AEW All Out, where they won their respective titles. Punk is also reportedly injured during his match at the pay-per-view.
