Report: Update On Pat Buck And Brandon Cutler’s Suspensions From AEW

Pat Buck and Brandon Cutler have reportedly been cleared to return to All Elite Wrestling following their involvement in the “melee” that involved CM Punk, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks.

Punk made some heated comments about Omega and the Bucks at the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, which prompted a physical confrontation between the two sides. Everyone involved, including some coaches and producers, has reportedly been suspended, though the status of Punk and Steel remains up in the air due to a third-party investigation.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Buck has returned to the company, and he is backstage ahead of the September 14 episode of AEW Dynamite. Sources noted that Buck was vial in helping break up the fight.

Other names involved in the situation, including Omega, Christopher Daniels and Michael Nakazawa, are in Japan; they were already scheduled to go there prior to their suspension. Sapp noted that Punk and the Young Bucks are not at Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

F4Wonline subsequently reported that Cutler is no longer suspended because he has been “cleared of wrongdoing.”

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
