10/7 AEW Rampage Draws Lowest Viewership Since July, Demo Rating Also Down

AEW Rampage viewership dropped on October 7.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 404,000 viewers tuned in on Friday. This number is substantially down from last week, when 472,000 viewers watched the show. The viewership for the October 7 episode is Rampage’s lowest since July 29.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, Rampage scored a 0.13, which is also down from last week (0.16). Friday’s demographic rating was Rampage’s lowest since the August 26 episode. Rampage ranked #20 in the demographic.

This week’s episode kicked off with Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta battling RUSH and Private Party. Elsewhere on the show, the Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and 10) challenged Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix) for the AEW World Trios Championship.

Rampage was up against IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory on Friday, among other programs.

Rampage preceded the live Battle of the Belts IV special, which aired at 11 p.m. EST. Battle of the Bels IV drew 317,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. For comparison, AEW Battle of the Belts III drew 437,000 viewers and scored a 0.12 rating in the same demographic.

Battle of the Belts IV opened with an AEW All-Atlantic Championship match where PAC defended the gold against Trent Beretta. In the main event, FTR defended the ROH World Tag Team Championship against the Gates of Agony.
