According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Dawkins has impressed WWE sources with his improvements, both in terms of his physique and his in-ring work. Sapp cited another source who noted that Dawkins’ increase in singles matches hasn’t been an accident, given these positive impressions. This source indicated that they heard higher-ups speaking favorably about Dawkins. The report noted that fans can expect to see Dawkins compete in singles matches more recently than he had before this past summer.
Additionally, Sapp cited an AEW talent who stated that they have felt like Dawkins could be a breakout star if he got the chance to compete in singles matches.
