Shawn Michaels On Logan Paul Calling Himself The Table: Should Have Thought That One Out

Shawn Michaels jokingly says Logan Paul should have thought his “I am the table” line through.

Michaels has spent time training Paul ahead of his high-profile match against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The WWE Hall of Famer has openly praised Paul, but it’s clear that the legend thinks Paul has a lot to learn, based on some comments he recently mad.

Speaking on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Michaels responded to the social media star calling himself “the table” as a shot at Reigns’ nickname, “The Head of the Table.”

“You do understand like, in this business, the table never ends up well,” Michaels said.

Paul noted that he wasn’t sure why he said that, and Michaels noted that he should have thought it through.

“First thing that came to your mind, right? ‘I’m the table,'” Michaels said. “Should have thought that one out.”

Paul offered an explanation and described that he was trying to answer the question about what he brings to the table. Michaels again joked that they’ll have to work on that.

Earlier in the show, Paul directly asked Michaels if he thinks he’s going to beat Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. Michaels was somewhat hesitant with his answer and pointed out that Paul has only had three matches.

“Well come on,” Michaels said. “You’re putting me big on the spot, like am I gonna beat him? Like damn. I’m just saying this is number three right, for you? In my third one, I gonna beat the best of all time? Well I mean, cut me some slack [laughs]. It took me ten years and I’m one of the greatest of all time. Not that you can’t get there, but at number three, I think you’re gonna do fantastic, all kidding aside.”
