Suspect In Armed Robbery Spotted Wearing WWE Championship Belt

A suspect in a bank robbery was spotted wearing a WWE Championship belt.

KWTX reports that the police department in Temple, Texas, is searching for the suspect, who was described as a “Black male wearing a blue long sleeve Nike shirt, WWE belt, glasses and no shoes”. Officers were dispatched after the individual entered a store on 1100 block of S. First Street, brandishing a gun, and demanded money. He then took an unknown amount of cash and left. No injuries were reported in the incident.

As seen in the screenshot, the suspect was wearing the championship belt upside down. It’s unclear whether this was an intentional reference to The Miz, who wore his title the same way so the “W” on the Spinner Belt looked like an “M” instead.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is encouraged to call the Temple Police Department at 254-298-5500 or anonymously contact the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477.
