WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops With Move To FS1 On 10/28

WWE SmackDown viewership dropped on October 28.

According to Brandon Thurston of Showbuzz Daily, 835,000 viewers watched the show on Friday. This number is down from last week, when 2.231 million viewers watched the show. It’s important to note that SmackDown was preempted to FS1 due to FOX’s coverage of the World Series, and FS1 isn’t available in as many homes.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.23, which is also down from last week’s rating (0.52 in the same demographic). SmackDown ranked #5 among cable originals in the demographic, per Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s episode featured a tag team bout where the Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland) defeated Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa. Plus, Roman Reigns appeared on the show, and Ronda Rousey held an open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Additionally, Hit Row joined forces with Shinsuke Nakamura to battle Legado del Fantasma, and Bray Wyatt addressed his demons.
