Logan Paul Posts Injury Update, Set To Miss At Least Six Weeks With Torn MCL

Logan Paul offers an injury update.

Paul suffered an injury at WWE Crown Jewel, where he unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. After the match, Paul posted on social media and revealed that he tore his meniscus, his MCL, and possibly his ACL. His brother, Jake Paul, subsequently noted that Logan was doing “better than expected.”

In his newest vlog, Paul discussed his injury and noted that he told his manager when it happened during the match.

“As everyone knows, I ended up tearing my knee, and I actually told my manager during the match,” Paul said. “What was I going to do, stop? No, everyone was looking at me, and I still had a five-star frog splash to hit.”

He described how he felt like he kept tearing his knee throughout the match as he kept putting weight on it, but he was determined to finish the contest. Paul also admitted that he made his initial post about the injury without confirming the diagnosis. He then got his knee scanned at a doctor, who told him that he tore his MCL.

“You have a significant tear of the MCL,” the doctor said. “You have what we call a Grade 3, which is almost a complete tear of the MCL. We’re gonna treat this with a brace [and] with rehab. It’s gonna take a minimum of six weeks for this to heal fully.”

At the end of the video, Paul commented on his recovery by saying, “I’ve been soaking my knee in rice. It’s working. I’m going to physical therapy every day and sports rehab. It’s been great thus far, and as of now, it looks like I’ll be back to WWE in…,” before a video cuts in with an advertisement for Paul’s first WWE action figure.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
