Report: WWE In Talks With E! About Show Starring Real-Life Wrestling Couples

WWE is reportedly in talks to produce a new reality show with E!, and the program would potentially highlight wrestling couples.

In the past, WWE has worked with E! to produce two popular shows, Total Divas and its spinoff, Total Bellas. The company has also announced that a series highlighting Bianca Belair and Montez Ford is in the works.

In the newest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that they want legitimate wrestling couples for the show, and “some upcoming signings could relate to that” if everything works out. Meltzer also named Matt Cardona as someone who was mentioned as a possibility. Meltzer previously reported that he believes Cardona’s wife, Chelsea Green, is set to return to WWE.

Cardona previously worked for WWE for several years, and he won the Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship. He is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion. Since WWE released him in April 2020, he has had a successful run on the open market; he has captured the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, the GCW World Championship, and the IMPACT Digital Media Championship, among other accolades/

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
