Ricky Starks On MJF’s Fashion Sense: He Wears Ferragamo, But It’s Really Ferragodno

Ricky Starks thinks it’s fine if MJF wants to wear knockoff suits, but he doesn’t compare to him or Wardlow in terms of fashion sense.

Ahead of AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming, Ricky Starks sat down with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN Wrestling to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked who does fashion the best in All Elite Wrestling, Starks puts himself at the top but admits he’d have a rival in Cody Rhodes if he were still with the company. Starks also puts over Wardlow, TBS Champion Jade Cargill, and Mark Sterling for their fashion sense.

“In AEW, I’m definitely at the top. If Cody [Rhodes] was still there, he would be…” Ricky Starks laughed. “Cody’s gonna hear this…Cody is second. Cody’s 1A and I’m 1B, I guess. Warlow would be for sure second. Who else is a very fashionable dresser? Jade [Cargill] is solid. A great fashion eye. Oh, man. You know who else? Mark Sterling has some really nice suits. They come really nice, steam-pressed. Like great colors, matches. The belt matches the shoes. The socks match. It breaks at the cuff of your hand like all the small details.”

When asked for his opinion on All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan‘s fashion sense, Starks said he likes TK’s eccentric style because he dresses for comfort but can be dapper when he wants to be.

“This is a good question. So this is the moment where Ricky can be really corporate and go ehhh, or I can be honest with you. I like Tony’s eccentric style,” Ricky Starks admitted. “And the reason is because he dresses for comfort. Now, there’s times where he will dress up. I’ve seen him at an all-white party. Very dapper, very dapper. I’ve seen him in suits, very dapper. And he is badass Jags jacket too that he typically wears that’s really nice.”

One wrestler whose fashion sense Ricky Starks doesn’t appreciate is MJF, who he accuses of wearing New York knockoff suits that are wrinkled and don’t fit.

“He wears Ferragamo, but it’s really Ferragodno,” Ricky Starks revealed. “They’re New York knockoff outfits, and they’re wrinkled, and they don’t fit. I mean, if you can rock knockoffs, that’s cool. But what I’m saying is Max is not even in contention for being best dressed because you wear a Burberry scarf and some ill-fitting suits. Who cares? Suits are okay, wear your suits. To me, Wardlow tops him in more ways than one.”
