Two weeks from now, the WWE RAW Women’s Championship will be on the line, with Bianca Belair defending the title against Alexa Bliss.
As confirmed during tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, the January 2, 20223 episode of RAW — which will be the first WWE show of the new year — will see Belair put her title up against a superstar that’s been going through some weird things.

In a backstage interview tonight, Belair said that she doesn’t trust Bliss after what happened last week, when Bliss seemingly snapped and tried to deliver a Sister Abigail to Belair. Bliss said that Bray Wyatt corrupted her, and that after going to therapy, she doesn’t even recognize the person she is now.
However, her friendship with Asuka and Belair has shown her that she has nothing to lose, including the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, ending things by saying that Wyatt is no longer a threat and Bliss just wants the title. Just as the interview ended, though, Bliss suddenly snapped again, this time smashing a vase over Bianca’s head and calmly walking off.
Also planned for January 2’s episode of RAW, Austin Theory will defend the WWE United States Championship against Seth Rollins. Rollins earned the title shot by defeating Bobby Lashley on the December 12 episode.
