WWE RAW Viewership Increases On 12/19, Demo Also Rises

WWE RAW viewership increased on December 19.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.705 million viewers tuned in on Monday, which is up from last week (1.472 million viewers). In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.43 rating, which is also up from last week (0.37 rating in the same demographic.) Thurston noted that Monday’s viewership number was RAW’s highest since October 17.

Monday Night Football dominated cable last night on ESPN, so RAW took the sixth, seventh, and ninth spots in the demographic among cable originals on Monday night.

The hourly breakdown, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:

  • First hour: 1.781 million viewers, 0.44 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Second hour: 1.767 million viewers, 0.44 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Third hour: 1.568 million viewers, 0.40 in the 18 to 49 demographic

This week’s episode opened with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman speaking about Kevin Owens. This led to the rest of The Bloodline arriving at the building and attacking wrestlers backstage throughout the show. In the main event, Kevin Owens and Seth “Freakin” Rollins faced The Usos in a non-title tag team match.
