NJPW Returning To Washington And Philadelphia With Two-City Tour In April

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is returning to the East Coast.

NJPW has announced that it will have a two-city tour in April; the company will hold the Capital Collision in Washington DC on April 15, and it will return to “The City of Brotherly Love” for Capital Collision on April 16. The announcement notes that the Philadelphia event will be “powered up into a PPV spectacular.”

As of this writing, matches have not been announced for either show.

Two major events will see NJPW action rock Washington DC and Philadelphia PA this April.

On April 15, Capital Collision will return to the Washington DC Sports and Entertainment center. At Capital Collision 2022, Juice Robinson shocked the world by wining the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a four way battle. What happens in 2023?

The very next night, April 16 will see NJPW return to the 2300 Arena for Collision in Philadelphia. 2022 saw STRONG tapings hit the legendary former ECW Arena, while 2023 will see the event powered up into a PPV spectacular. What happens when New Japan is back in the iconic home of hardcore?

Tickets for both events go on sale on January 13!

NJPW later posted updated advertisements for the shows. Fred Rosser, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, and Shingo Takagi are advertised for Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, KENTA, and Tomohiro Ishii are featured on the graphic for Capital Collision.
