Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander React To Their Reunion On 1/9 WWE Raw

Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander are all about coordination moving forward.

The January 9, 2023 episode of Monday Night Raw saw some exciting developments pertaining to the former Hurt Business.

MVP and Bobby Lashley came to an understanding that “they’re good,” leaving the door open for a future reunion. Also, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander reformed their tag team as part of a Tag Team Turmoil to determine new number one contenders for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

Speaking to Byron Saxton on WWE Raw Talk, Shelton Benjamin made it clear that neither he nor Alexander is interested in talking about MVP and Bobby Lashley, believing the focus should be on them.

“Let me make something very clear. We’re here to talk about Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, and only Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. So, if you don’t have a question about what we did tonight, about us reuniting, or about that tag team gauntlet, this interview’s over,” said Benjamin.

Saxton then changed his questioning to ask how they felt about their reunion. Alexander and Benjamin were feeling very positive about their abilities as a team but admitted they needed to work on getting back in sync and focusing on coordination.

“It felt great,” Alexander exclaimed. “Did you hear that crowd out there? They know what me and Shelton are capable of. It’s going to take a lot of time to find that championship sync. You know what I mean? To coordinate with the gear. We’ve got to get our moves back in sync. We’ve got to coordinate.”

With the door open for a full Hurt Business reunion, timing and coordination will be key for not only Benjamin and Alexander but Bobby Lashley and MVP as well if they ever truly hope to get the band back together.
