WWE RAW Viewership Decreases On 1/16, Demo Also Drops

WWE RAW viewership decreased on January 16.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.489 million viewers tuned in on Monday, which marks a decrease from last week (1.693 million viewers )

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.42 rating, which is down from last week (0.50 rating in the same demographic).

On Monday night, RAW faced stiff competition; Wild Card playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys dominated TV, as 31.1 million viewers watched the game. RAW ranked seventh, eighth, and ninth in the demographic, per Showbuzz Daily.

The hourly breakdown, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:

First hour: 1.557 million viewers, 0.44 in the 18 to 49 demographic

Second hour: 1.544 million viewers, 0.44 in the 18 to 49 demographic

Third hour: 1.365 million viewers, 0.37 in the 18 to 49 demographic

This week’s episode opened with a promo from The Bloodline, which  was interrupted by The Judgment Day. In the main event, Bobby Lashley won a six-way elimination match to become the number-one contender for Austin Theory’s United States Championship.
