Thunder Rosa: I’ll Be Back On The Road With AEW Soon, But I Won’t Be Wrestling

Thunder Rosa says she’ll be back on the road with AEW soon, but she won’t be wrestling.

Rosa has been sidelined since August 2022, as she has been dealing with a back injury. At the time, Rosa was the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, and her inability to compete led AEW to crown an interim champion at AEW All Out, where Toni Storm won the title. AEW later removed the “interim” aspect of the championship when Jamie Hayter dethroned Storm at AEW Full Gear, making Hayter the lineal AEW Women’s World Champion.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rosa shared her thoughts on Saraya’s heel turn in AEW before she noted that she’ll be back on the road with the company soon. Though Rosa won’t be wrestling, she stated that she’s looking forward to seeing everyone.

“Since we’re talking about AEW, I’m probably gonna be coming back on the road pretty soon,” Ross said. “Not to wrestle, but we’re gonna be out at AEW, showing face and being around. It’s gonna be very nice to see everyone and to see how things unfold.”

As of this writing, it’s unclear when Rosa will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
