NWA Powerrr Live Results (1/31): Champions Series Finals, Cardona And Tyrus Contract Signing

The National Wrestling Alliance presented the first-ever live episode of NWA Powerrr on January 31.

The results are as follows:

Odinson is in the ring, and he’s asked about his No Tables Match with Bully Ray. He says he doesn’t need weapons, as he plays by the rules. Odinson makes it clear that he fights for Odin and Asgard.

No Tables Match: Bully Ray vs. Odinson

Odinson attacks Ray from behind during his entrance and hits him below the belt. Ray gets a two count with a schoolboy pin attempt and clotheslines Odinson. The powerhouse gains the upper hand and slams Ray. Bully rallies with a suplex. Odinson drills Ray with some strikes and plants him with a suplex. Odinson inadvertently hits the referee, and the official goes down. Odinson brings a table into the ring and goes for a slam. Ray slams Odinson through a table right when the referee gets up, and the official calls for the bell.

Winner via disqualification: Odinson

At the podium, Thrillbilly Silas (alongside Pollo del Mar) preview the Champions Series finals. Silas brings up his Tennessee roots and makes it clear he wants to face Tyrus for the world title at NWA 75. But first, he has his sights set on beating Cyon for the NWA National Championship.

NWA United States Tag Team Titles: The Fixers (Wrecking Ball Legursky & Jay Bradley) (c) vs. The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & Anthony Andrews)

Bradley and Cazana start the bout, and the challengers gain an early advantage. Legursky tags in, and Andrews goes for a slam, but he comes up empty. Legursky slams him and tags Bradley. The Country Gentlemen double-team Bradley, who fires back with a clothesline. The champions take control and isolate Cazana and keep him grounded. Bradley takes trash about Cazana’s family. Legursky slams Cazana, who rallies and tags Andrews. With a flurry of offense, Andrews gains momentum. Bradley suplexes Andrews. Cazana rolls up Legursky to win the NWA United States Tag Team Championship.

NWA Nuff Said Contract Signing: Tyrus and Matt Cardona

Tyrus signs the contract. Cardona says he hates Knoxville, and they’re in the same arena where he had to relinquish the world title. Cardona says he should get to choose the stipulations because he never lost the title. BLK Jeez calls Cardona a bitch and tells him to sign the contract. Cardona tells Tyrus this isn’t the National Talk Show Alliance. Tyrus says it doesn’t say Internet Champion, either. He says Cardona has a legitimate beef. Tyrus admits he’s not the undisputed champion, and the only way to settle it is to face off at NWA Nuff Said. Cardona refuses to sign it. BLK Jeez pitches a tag team match for next week’s show, where Tyrus and Cardona will choose partners, and the winner will choose the stipulation. Cardona signs the contract, so the match is on.

Kenzie Paige vs. Charlette Renegade

Paige and Renegade feel each other out. Kenzie slaps Charlette, who throws her across the ring and dumps her with a suplex. Renegade gets a two count with a clothesline. Paige slams Renegade to the mat. Renegade rallies with a clothesline and a slam. Charlette gets a two count with a spinebuster. Paige rolls Renegade up for a two count and rocks her with a superkick. Paige gets her title belt and goes to hit Renegade. The referee stops her, but she sprays Charlette with something and pins her.

Kamille and Thom Latimer are standing with Kyle Davis, who says their scheduled match against Psycho Love is off, as Love and Fodder were unable to make the show. Kamille says they were just scared, and that’s why they didn’t come to the show. Fodder and Love attack Latimer and Kamille from behind. Fodder slams Latimer into the ring post. Love takes the fight to Kamille. She chokes the champion with a kendo stick. Love hits Latimer below the belt, and Fodder hits him with a kendo stick. Love drops Kamille with the Botox Injection.

The Champions Series Finals: Team Rock N Roll (Taya Valkyrie, Madi Wrenkowski, La Rosa Negra, Kerry Morton, Ricky Morton, Chris Adonis, Mims, Dak Draper, & Alex Taylor Willoughby vs. Team Tyrus (Samantha Starr, Robyn Renegade, Allysin Kay, Carnage, EC3, Thrillbilly Silas, Trevor Murdoch, Rolando Perez, & BLK Jeez)

The match quickly breaks down into a brawl. In the ring, Kay and La Rosa Negra start the bout and take the fight to each other. Kay gets a two count with a neckbreaker. Kay counters a crossbody and drops Negra with a backbreaker. Negra slams Kay to the mat and wrenches her in a submission, and Kay taps out. Renegade enters the bout, and Negra continues to control the bout. She gets a two count with a kick to the head. Renegade rocks Negra with a dropkick. She wrenches Negra’s injured ribs and makes her tap out. Madi is the next competitor to enter the match. She rolls Robyn up for a two count. Madi pins Robyn with the Reality Check scissor kick. Starr enters the matc. Madi rolls her up for a two count.

Starr pins her with a DDT. Valkyrie enters the match, but Starr maintains the advantage. Valkyrie takes control and drops her with a clothesline. Valkyrie pins Starr with the Road to Valhalla. She calls Carnage into the ring, and a distraction from EC3 helps Carnage dump her over the ropes and eliminate her. Mims takes the fight to Carnage but quickly gets pinned with a Flatliner. Adonis enters the bout, and Carnage overpowers him. Adonis catches Carnage with a spinebuster and pins him to eliminate him. Murdoch is the next man up. He takes control and blasts Adonis with stiff blows. Adonis tosses Murdoch out of the ring to eliminate him. Murdoch pulls Adonis under the ropes and slams him into the ring post. He slams Adonis on the apron and rolls him back into the ring. Silas slams Adonis to the mat and pins him. Taylor enters, and Silas overpowers him.

Silas slams Taylor to the mat and pins him, leaving Dak Draper as the last member of Team Rock N Roll. He avoids going over the top rope and gets a two count. Draper counters a slam and pins Silas. The match comes down to EC3 and Draper. EC3 slams Draper and keeps him grounded. He overpowers Draper, who avoids getting tossed over the ropes. Draper rallies, but EC3 takes control again. EC3 slams Draper and leaves the ring to confront Ricky Morton. Draper capitalizes and manages o pin EC3 for the win.

Winners: Team Rock N Roll (Taya Valkyrie, Madi Wrenkowski, La Rosa Negra, Kerry Morton, Ricky Morton, Chris Adonis, Mims, Dak Draper, & Alex Taylor Willoughby

The Wedding of May Valentine & Aron Stevens

Judge Sam Teamo (Santino Marella) introduced himself and discussed the importance of marriage. He congratulated Stevens on “scoring” a Brazilian. Stevens reads his vows.  Stevens nearly says he’s going to be “all up in that ass” but Teamo stops him. Valentine says she almost gave up on love, but Stevens made him believe again. She says she’s so happy Stevens wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Teamo opens the floor for objections, and Pollo Del Mar comes to the podium, saying that Valentine is too good for Stevens. Chris Silvio objects to “the fact” that Jax Dane was not headlining the show. Mercurio and Natalia Markova also interrupt. Markova says Valentine can’t marry a man who doesn’t love her.

She says she thinks Valentine is making a big mistake. Stevens says he’s not fake. Stevens gives Teamo the marriage license. Teamo asks Valentine if she has a green card, and she says she does. Teamo says the marriage certificate is for two citizens, so they can’t get married today. Valentine gets upset and tells Stevens to do something, but he says it’s the law. Valentine starts crying and hits Stevens with her flowers. She throws a tantrum and starts destroying the decorations. Valentine gets the bottle of champagne. Stevens hides behind Damage, one-half of Stevens’ Blunt Force Trauma team. Stevens looks apologetic as Valentine continues to yell before she’s escorted away by some guests.
