Sami Zayn Open To Potentially Using Former Theme Song At WWE Elimination Chamber

Could Sami Zayn‘s former theme song return for one night only?

After months of storytelling across WWE Raw and SmackDown, Sami Zayn is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber on February 18. Ahead of the bout, Zayn recently appeared on The Sick Podcast and spoke to Tony Marinaro about the praise his Bloodline storyline has received, with many going as far to say it’s among one of the best.

“When you say it that way, it’s pretty crazy. But also when you’re in it, it doesn’t seem that crazy,” Zayn said. “I think it’s one of those things where because I’m in the middle of it, I’m so close to it that I realize that people are enjoying it. I even see the reaction of people that are mildly into wrestling seem to be more drawn into wrestling as of late because of this story… This is a very special story that I think everybody who’s performing in it at this point realizes, ‘Oh yeah, this one will be remembered.'”

Later, Zayn was asked what the chances are of his former theme song “Worlds Apart” returning. While he’d rather have a new song, Zayn wouldn’t mind bringing it back for one night only.

“I mean, if it were going to come back, I feel like that would be the time and place to do it. I’ve said this in other interviews. I feel like it would kind of be taking a step backwards,” Zayn admitted. “I think maybe a new song is in the cards, but I feel like that song, even though people have a real fondness for it, it seems. From a character’s perspective, it just feels like taking a step backward. At the same time, doing it for like a one-night thing in Montreal might be kinda cool. I don’t know.”
