Michin (Mia Yim): I’m Working My Way Up, I Can See The Progress

Slowly but surely, Michin (Mia Yim) believes she’s finding her footing on WWE RAW.

Yim previously had a brief run on the main roster as Reckoning in Retribution. When the group broke up, she was moved to WWE SmackDown, but she never appeared on the show. Instead, she was released in a wave of cuts in November 2022. Following a prominent run in IMPACT Wrestling, Yim returned to WWE on the November 7 episode of WWE RAW, and she has been a featured member of the roster ever since/

Speaking with with Rick Ucchino for Bleav in Pro Wrestling, Yim detailed her mindset surrounding WWE’s deep women’s division. She emphasized that she has been focused on staying patient, as she noted that there’s so much star power. She stated that she’s working her way up, and she’s confident in the progress she’s making.

“Patience because there’s so much talent, so much star power,” Yim said. “It’s like, I gotta know that I’m not gonna be at the top of the chain tomorrow. I gotta work my way up, and slowly, day by day, every time I’m on TV, I can tell it’s just getting a little bit better. But I also gotta remember that me having my place at NXT, what I did at NXT, coming back, it’s like I’m starting all over again. Of course the reaction and everything is gonna be not what it was at NXT, but day by day, I can start to see that it’s growing, and that’s all I can ask for. “

Yim recently lost to Piper Niven on the February 13 episode of WWE RAW. In recen weeks, she has competed on WWE Main Event.
