Saraya believes the wrestling business is very lucky to have someone like William Regal in it.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Saraya recently sat down with The Mirror to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about William Regal’s recent departure from the company, Saraya admitted that she misses him but shares a piece of advice he shared with her that she still lives by today.
“I miss him,” Saraya admitted. “I always love this quote: ‘Never listen to people that try to belittle your ambitions, small people always do that. But the real greats make you think that you too can become great.’ And that’s just Regal. He’s a selfless human being who makes you feel like you can be as great or even better than him. He pushes you to that level. He’s awesome. We’re very lucky to have him in this wrestling business.”
While William Regal is back working behind the scenes at WWE, Saraya made it clear that she’s very happy working for Tony Khan at All Elite Wrestling.
“I’m always gonna love WWE, they’re awesome,” Saraya said. “But Tony gives you a lot more wiggle room with creative. And he lets me do whatever I want outside of the company. He says as long as you come to work, you can continue working on your projects and all that kind of fun stuff.”
